This Elia Kazan masterpiece has one of the most talented ensemble casts with Karl Malden, Vivien Leigh and Kim Hunter, but it is Marlon Brando who stands out in his break-through performance as the films anti-hero, the abusive Stanley Kowalski in one of the more influential male performances in cinema history.
