Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Carter R — 24 Dec 2009
The acting, to me, was what made this movie great. Vivien Leigh was stunning and Brando was terrific as well. Maybe I'm not experienced enough to fully enjoy Brando's performance, I thought it was really good, but not THE best of all time, as some critics suggest.
I found the plot pretty dull and only finished it because of the powerful acting. Definitely worth the watch if you're a big fan of Leigh or Brando.
