Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Sonya P — 21 Dec 2010
Wow, just when I get tired of watching "classic" movies due to MANY reasons (boring, exaggerated acting, censorship to the point you can't understand what they're trying to imply, crazy music, I could go on.
..), I am seriously surprised. I didn't think it was even possible for Streetcar to be as good as it was, I underestimated it. It felt like Marlon Brando didn't belong back then, because he seems like such a real person compared to everyone else.
