Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by John Albert V — 05 Apr 2016
It always reminds me of the grandeur of acting in the past on how an actor's performance can electrify the screen and get your fullest focus locked upon them like a spotlight. They just don't give us realism.
They give us magic! 65 years have passed, the quality of its ensemble acting never diminishes - it's a masterpiece that hasn't lost its power to astonish, still dripping with desire.
