There's nobody like Brando, nor will there ever be. Aside from his powerhouse performance, he just LOOKS amazing in this. Despite being overlooked for an Oscar (losing out to Bogey in The African Queen, though I reckon Brando should've won it, much as I love African Queen), this went down as once of the most influential acting performances in Hollywood history.
Vivian Leigh and Kim Hunter both won Oscars for their brilliant performances though, of very different sisters in yet another example of why Tennessee Williams is one of the best playwrights and screenwriters the world's ever seen.
