Review of A Story Worth Living (2016) by James S — 19 May 2016
I really like these guys and am in full support of the message of "thinking about the story of your life and the larger story that goes on around you". And I really enjoyed the film work and scenery and the camaraderie of their time together.
It is a bummer to me that so many biker enthusiast felt so mislead, but I get it. The movie was mild on adventure shots. So maybe the guys who did the movie missed with a certain audience. However, they DID pursue an adventure that was way out of their norm. And for that, I applaud them. I know they will try again and not be stopped by the cynical and demeaning remarks of those who were disappointed. Who said we were all supposed to like the same kind of movie? Let it be. And why do people get so mad when others talk about God? Oh well, it's just someone trying to tell a story...like most movies, good or bad. I'm sure reviews aren't going to ruin these guys lives, and I doubt that it will enhance the lives of those who didn't like it.
