Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by Shaun M — 04 Apr 2009
Sam Raimi delves into yet another genre - this time the crime thriller - and once again dazzles, with this morally complex parable about the overarching greed and suspicion roused by large sums of money, as well as the desperation generated by a lack of it.
Rich characters and an unrelenting, underlying intensity make this a thrilling neo-noir.
