Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by Emil K — 04 Aug 2008
Wonderfully moody drama from Sam Raimi who shows his more mature side with this film. It has great photography and haunting score, but acting seems a bit out of place, specially Billy Bob Thornton does not feel right.
Twisty screenplay goes also so overly absurd in the end that it is quite hard to swallow.
