Review of A Serbian Film (2010) by Fabian J — 10 Feb 2015
It's a disgusting, revolting, immoral, perverted piece of work. It's 'new born porn', ultra-violent, misogenistic and quite frankly brilliant.. Despite the content and the whole pantomime of porn Srdjan Spsojevic has a cinematic eye.
His compositions are brilliant and his lighting is superb. It's not to everyone's taste...it is shocking!, Having said that it has a dark humour, unlike Martyrs which has none, and an extremely pertinent central concept.
. It's Marmite.
