Visceral brutality is extremely tricky in movies, and can sometimes create an intriguing body of work ("Raw") or, like in this case, can just give a bad acted and poorly written movie a pointless shocker twist that fails to impress.
On the other side, "A Serbian Film" is courageous and try its bets to create something new.
