Absolutely my favorite movie of all time with some of my favorite actors of all time (Bonham-Carter, Smith, Day-Lewis, Dench, and Sands...brilliant!). This is the quintessential romance film, but without the nauseating fluff, because the screenwriter has dutifully followed E.
M. Forster's novel to the letter. This film is moving and gorgeous. It will make anyone want to go to Firenze and fall in love!
