Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by George P — 20 Sep 2018
A Quiet Place is a very unique film. It reminds you of the silent era of film. It reminds you the formula of silent horror films like Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr Caligari. The movie uses silence to its advantage, because of the silence and the fear of making a noise the suspense is high.
The performances are gold and the script by John Krasinski is just perfect. Its scary and dramatic at the same time. You care about the characters. Overall I really enjoyed the movie. I am giving it 5/5 stars.
You do not see horror movies like this any more.
