Review of A Place in the Sun (1951) by Jess C — 02 Nov 2008
Wow, the nerve of some people! This great 1951 movie had some pretty trecherous things going on and I liked it plenty, with wonderful acting by Montgomery Cliff and Liz Taylor. The basic plotline involved a young man who gets a co-worker pregnant, then shifts over his interests to woman who is richer and more beautiful.
While the new lovely couple is out to play on a romantic getaway, the pregnant co-worker calls and threatens to "tell everyone", then a whole world of foul play comes about.
