I do recommend seeing the remastered blue-ray edition. The colors and magnificent scenery just pop - surely this is the way David Lean intended his film to be seen....
An excellent, strange and suprising film. Wonderful story, reminds you just how awful people are and the amazing capacity we have to forget that and to forgive.
