Epic film befitting of David Leans genre. British empire lords intruding into the lives of their Indian minions. Glorious acting by Judy Davis, Peggy Ashcroft, and James Fox. But most impressive was Alec Guinness's sublime acting as an Indian Professor.
Reminded me of Siendeld's friend Apu.
