Review of A Passage to India (1984) by Jihan B — 29 Jun 2009
David Lean's last film is his best since "Lawrence of Arabia," and arguably the best E.M. Forster film adapation ever. It's a good reminder of what lush costume dramas were like before they started becoming bloated, watered down, overly self-important, and emotionally sterile.
