Review of A Passage to India (1984) by Mark S — 29 Sep 2012
Given he hadn't directed a film for 14 years, this was a fine swansong for David Lean, and is very befitting of his career on the whole. It's languid without being boring; as with many of Lean's films the world it portrays is so well realised that you are swept away into it.
