Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989) by Luke P — 21 Nov 2008
The thing I love about these Nightmare on Elm Street sequels is their off- the-wall, zany sense of invention, and Part 5: The Dream Child is the bizarrest and most nonsensical of the bunch. Creative death scenes and impressive and grisly effects, plus the oddest birth since Eraserhead, while Freddy Kruger butchers and banters in equal measure.
This film makes not a single modicum of sense, but it is great fun indeed.
