Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Alex B — 31 May 2010
With the remake now on release , I felt like revisiting the series. And this is definitely my favourite of the series. It tried and somewhat successfully pulled off an inventive take on a well worn story.
And In my opinion I think that it has some of the most memorable and creative kills of the series. Also I liked how it toned down the silliness brought in from the third film. ( Which I donâ??t really like considering all the fan love over it.
) And brought Freddy back to being a lot more sinister and gruesome in his executions. And the sense of pathos you get from his victims and the situations theyâ??re being forced to endure.
