Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Grayson W — 10 Oct 2015
The new protagonist is Alice, a red haired girl with a drunk for a father and a karate obsessed brother. She's a bit on the bland side. However the film has lots of great practical fx scenes and creative kills (SPOILERS ahead) such as the water bed, gym girl's detached arms, cockroach transformation.
.. and who can forget turning the victims into pizza toppings? The plot itself may not be as memorable as previous entries, but it's still a great, fun horror film with atmosphere and plenty of memorable scenes.
