Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) by Humberto O — 20 Feb 2014
Utter trash. This movie is marginally better than the second one, but if this is considered as the best Nightmare after the original, then you might as well disregard all of the others, because a movie won't get much worse than this.
Again, this is classic trash so it might have a viewing value, but to consider this a good movie is an insult to the real good movies out there. The chick that plays Nancy is horrible as in the first one, it's a relief when you see she might not come back in the series.
This movie tries to thread a new line of action for Freddy, as he says and do things that are slightly more comical and I'm not sure if it works, but maybe this was a change that was needed. Movies from this series are very alike, with similar plots and elements, so it grows old very fast.
Even so, this movie is barely watchable. Only try to see this if you enjoy the genre.
