Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) by Curtis T — 15 Apr 2012
This wasn't exactly a strong starting point for rebooting the franchise, but I thought Jackie Earle Haley was really good in this (although a little short in stature for filling the shoes of such a domineering horror icon, but whatever).
The scares are pretty tepid and the story is actually kind of boring, but it's nice to see a Freddy movie get the big budget treatment.
