In terms of being a reboot, its not bad. Directed by acclaimed music video director Samuel Bayer, "Nightmare" offers up some scares and Bayer's direction and Haley's performance but thats not enough to lift this film above a "been there, seen that" story while not even trying to do anything new with the character.
