So what can I say about this remake... it's more like a love and hate ... I like parts of the movie for being different... like adding different elements .. like micro dreams , and taking things from the 1984 version.. like the stairs(carpet) nancy falls through.. they did this with a huge hall carpet and it looked more like quick sand... and instead of the mother going through a doorway.. she went through a mirror...

Nancy emo kid ??!! ummmm,, I don't want to even touch this...

The dream world was done alittle bit better..but I think CGI really puts a shitstain on 80's classics.. they didn't need it back then.. why do it now?!?

the 1st nightmare on elm street cost 1million to make...

This one had a way bigger budget ..

Jackie - he walks like Krueger - put a new spin on the dream demon.. I like it! the lines were there.. but freddy droppin "f" bombs! lol.. that's new for me... I guess no pull string doll from this movie ! LOL!!

For a new gen of Nightmare \horror fans !! it's a great flick.. but fans of the orginal might be let down...

So i'm 50\50 on this movie...
