I kinda liked this flick. But I do believe that it would of been a lot better if the acting was better. The only saving grace of this movie( to me at least), was the great job that Jackie Earl Haley did playing his version of Freddy Krueger.
The update origin story was pretty good. And I really liked the dream sequences. But, I was left not really caring about the teens that we are being introduces to as they are killed one by one. If they decide to do a sequel, I hope they learn from the missteps of this film.
