Review of A Night to Remember (1958) by Andrew K — 14 Apr 2012
Very classic and old style, and pretty good too. It's true that none of the characters really have that much depth, except for maybe Lightoller. I believe all (or most) of the characters are historical, meaning their individual stories had to all be threaded together.
Anyway, the special effects are pretty good for the 1950s. I also like how this movie focuses a lot on the Carpathia and the Californian, which the James Cameron movie either cut out or left out.
