Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Nathaniel B — 06 Aug 2011
A switch to MGM and a change of style results in a superior film to "Duck Soup" regardless of the latter's higher ranking on the AFI 100. There is a more coherent plot and structure here, with more fluid jokes and gags and the Marx Brothers are actually likeable here.
