Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Yebrail B — 23 Jun 2008
I saw "A Man for All Seasons" in 1994, and I was very impressed by the dignity that Paul Scofield brought to the role of St. Thomas More. The story and dialogue were excellent, and the moral is still very relevant in this day and age. A Christian should not have to choose between God and the state, but that is a sacrifice that we may all be called to make.
"I die His Majesty's good servant, but God's first." -- St. Thomas More.
