Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Johann M — 18 Nov 2017
The story of Saint Thomas More, who stood up to King Henry VIII when the King rejected the Roman Catholic Church to obtain a divorce and remarriage. This 1966 film won the Oscar for Best Picture in the 38th Academy Awards and other countless Oscars, Baftas and Golden Globes.
Even if it is considered mostly religious nowadays, it succeeds in narrating the clash of the crown and the faith.
