Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Tim P — 29 Aug 2008
Absolutely fantastic film! Thomas More is a total legend, with dialogue that would make Shakespeare cry in shame for not having wrote it.
Everything about this film is a testament to great British film making and making moral decisions in the face of overwhelming pressure to dispense with scrupples.
It's a pity that the Tudors has ripped off most of the best scenes but, funnily enough, they've left some of the better ones intact.
Thoroughly recommended!
