Review of A Man and a Woman (1966) by Ja S — 07 Oct 2012
Although A Man and a Woman's storytelling resembles calligraphy, the love story itself is quite uninteresting. The movie is nothing else than pretty pictures combined with a catchy soundtrack that until the last half hour (when Anne sends to Jean-Louis a message saying: I love you) hardly can keep the story flowing.
The most interesting element of the film, I think, is to observe how the love gets born and grows between them...
