Review of A Letter to Three Wives (1949) by Katie R — 13 Jun 2007
Joseph L. Mankiewicz was a brilliant filmmaker, and this is one of his best. Of the cast, the real stand out is Linda Darnell, who was never appreciated as much as she should have been. In the end, the true romance of the film is surprising, but lovely.
