Review of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014) by Courtney K — 10 Aug 2016
This is like watching a great director's first film, which it probably is considering this is Ana Lily Amirpour's feature film directorial debut. Some amazing themes that you could think about forever and a very interesting story, but it lacks the ability to streamline those ideas into a film palpable for those just looking for a new take on vampires, and comes out feeling a bit amateurish and uneven.
