A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night is not a movie for massive audiences, its reading is for tougher audiences but still manages to offer multiple pleasures within its environment, and much of this is due to the effect of its cinematography.
It's a luminous creepy film set in an imaginary Iranian underworld, filmed properly in black and white.
Try it, you won't regret it.
