Amirpour really knows how to shoot a movie. There are many beautiful scenes. But it did seem imbalanced as far as what held me gripped. Sometimes I was entranced-other times not so much. Also, with her music choices it's tough not to think of Tarantino.
I'm looking forward to her next movie though.
