Review of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (1966) by Jonathan S — 25 Mar 2008
Every now and then I like to hit the wayback machine and check out older flicks that I never got to see when they were newer. This one was fairly silly. Holds up ok after all these years. The humor is similar to Mel Brooks but not quite as over the top.
Zero Mostel is the star, but there's other random people of fame floating around, including Buster Keaton near the end of his life. For anyone who enjoys Mel Brooks and humor from that era, you'd probably enjoy this movie.
