A modern classic and no doubt the best courtroom drama I have ever seen! A Few Good Men has a great leading cast with Tom Cruise (Rain Man, Top Gun) and Jack Nicholson (Chinatown, The Shining) both giving some of their very best performances ever.

Cruise plays Lt. JG Daniel Kaffe the lawyer who is defending the two marines on trial for a crime. Cruise's performance is riviting as at first he gives us the impression of the arrogant, and seemingly care free man, it is then you see he is driven, his intensity and ultimately passion for what it is he does.

Nicholson in an Oscar nominated performance is amazing as always, every scene he is in he completely steals the show, as the tough as nails, no nonsense Colonel. The film's supporting cast also helped bring the film to life with Demi Moore, Kevin Pollak and Keifer Sutherland.

The story was great and also deceptive. The final courtroom scene is the bulk of the film and no doubt the most famous, most passionate and by far had the best scenes of acting capability in the film.

The hostility that Cruise and Nicholson had shown for each other in that scene is breathtaking in the famous "I want the truth!" "You can't handle the truth!" scene. Director Rob Reiner truly helped craft a masterpiece.
