Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Colin N — 07 Oct 2007
Well done work by Elia Kazan, although I didn't like it during my first viewing I found it extremely insightful the second time around. How the world can easily be manipulated by mass media, and how vulnerable we are to seduction by fame and fortune.
Lonesome Rhodes is a prime example of those of us who at first will love just spouting out our opinions but then be enlightened by how are seeds of politics will grow and how we are easily corrupted by this power.
