Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Jared T — 18 Sep 2012
Interesting look on the rise and fall of an over-zealous, egotastic country bumpkin that lets it all go to his head. Griffith is phenomenal as Lonesome Rhodes and the supporting cast barely keeps up with the tour de force performance he gives.
Story is very moving and epic. Truly an underrated American masterpiece.
