Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Russ B — 24 Aug 2010
More timely now, perhaps, than when it was first released in 1957, Elia Kazan's overheated political melodrama explores the dangerous manipulative power of pop culture, like with that idiot Glenn Beck! Andy Griffith plays a monster name "Lomsome" Rhodes and he is awsome in the role! This is a movie everyoen shouod see just for the end.
It' is more powerful today the it was some 52 years ago when it was released!
