Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Thérèse F — 15 May 2008
A shockingly dark film, with an equally dark performance from Andy Griffith as a country bumpkin who becomes a media sensation corrupt with his own power. Good performances, as always, from Patricia Neal and Walter Matthau.
If you have only seen Andy Griffith as Sheriff Taylor, you should take a look at this film.
