Review of A Dog's Breakfast (2007) by Ken Y — 24 Jun 2009
Great movie David! I even took the time to register to do a review as you asked on Twitter.
I saw this movie on HDNET movies a few months ago. I DVR'd it and watched it several times. Excellent. This movie is an example why I always liked the funny eps on Stargate Atlantis. All of you Kate, Paul, Christopher, and Rachel work so well together. Tis a shame Atlantis sank again.
I think the movie was very insightful. Almost like you may be recalling from personal experience. (Hehe) I personally don't recall seeing this idea in a movie plot ever. Very Refreshing. The total "paranoia" that David Hewlett exudes is hilariously funny and believable. The relationship between David and his sister Kate is excellent. Reminds me of similarities with my sister when I was younger.
I would like to have seen more of Rachel in the movie as she can be very funny. Chris Judge was as I have never seen him before. Definitely not Teal'c. I would like to see ADB2.
Hopefully we will see more movies from you David. And bring your stargate friends!
