Review of A Dirty Carnival (2006) by Stu N — 07 Jan 2009
Some worthwhile moments in the otherwise watery plot. It seems that I've entered a new genre, 'gangster' film as coming-of-age. The main character's true battles are fought not with sashimi knives and aluminum bats, but rather, melodramatically with a superficial love interest and friendships.
