Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Nathan M — 14 Apr 2012
One of the worst films in the repertoire of everyone involved, even if I enjoyed some of the psychotalk. First of all, Keira Knightley's face-pulling nearly sinks the entire affair, simply the worst performance I have yet seen from her.
Michael Fassbender is severely underutilized and Mortensen's Freud is lethargic and brings little to the table. The film also looks curiously lousy in a 1080p transfer. The resolution is so sharp that it reveals the cheap production value and low budget visuals in the film.
