Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Alicia P — 05 Jul 2012
I liked how David Cronenberg intertwined the scientific and the personal drama. I also enjoyed the longing air of a different time, when people had time to converse and discuss ideas, not only in person but through letter-writing.
It warmed my heart in that sense, although the subject matter is not necessarily heart-warming. Keira Knightley's acting is atrocious! She plays Sabina with the same depth and color as she does Elizabeth Bennet! Not a fan.
Viggo Mortensen was OK, but I mostly enjoyed Michael Fassbender.
