Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Rebeccah R — 27 Jan 2013
In the early days of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung contend a troubled patient and as they contrast they discover new ways and techniques to understand the human mind. The material seems to point towards a provocative drama based on true events, but apart from the performances of the talented cast, it is rather disappointing that Cronenberg chooses to play it safe, especially taking in consideration his previous body of work.
