Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Rory P — 28 Jul 2012
Knightley's accent is awful and her gurning portrayal of insanity borders on the offensive. Her "cure" following some cosy chats, in which we learn it was all her daddy's fault (of course!) further trivialise an already dubious "science".
Some "kinky" bits thrown in just to titillate. Was bored with it by the half-way mark, by which point it had descended into the tepid love story that all "period" pieces become.
