Review of A Cure for Wellness (2017) by Jarren N — 11 Jul 2017

Not entirely sure what this movie was trying to say. It was a crazy mixed up plot. The whole thing was apparently a cult whose leader was draining people of their essence so that he can somehow become a swamp monster and then create a perfect human with his daughter (yuck!).

I didn't get it and the rape stuff wasn't cool. Why would anyone suddenly change their mind and want to stay? I didn't get this whole movie. It started out strong I thought. Posed some nice philosophical statements etc.

.. but fell apart.
