Review of A Bucket of Blood (1959) by Max M — 26 Jan 2008
Director Roger Corman and writer Charles B. Griffith's predecessor to 'Little Shop of Horrors' (both films cover similar territory) is a terrific and funny variation on the stories of 'Mystery of the Wax Museum' and 'House of Wax' - with a hint of Edgar Allen Poe thrown in (it is Corman after all).
Made all the more effective by Dick Miller's sympathetic performance.
