Caught it on TCM one night and loved it from the get-go. Having been weaned on a steady diet of Joe Dante movies, I'm always at ease whenever Dick Miller's onscreen, and to see him in the lead for once was a real treat.
Some genuinely smart writing and Corman's unbeatable knack for tight 'n cheap storytelling make this the B-movie to beat.
